Newport News Police Foundation
Who We Are
The Newport News Police Foundation is the only organization authorized by the Newport News Police Department to raise funds on the department's behalf. The Foundation is run by an all volunteer board of directors. The Chief of Police sits on the Foundation board as an ex-officio member. 100% percent of the proceeds raised by the Foundation goes to fund valuable technology, morale, training, and community and youth engagement programs.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide critical resource to the Newport News Police Department that allows the Department to acquire new technologies and equipment, provide programs for young people, and community outreach, and to enhance Department morale and education, all of which make Newport News a safer place to live, work, and play, and raise a family.
