Everyday the brave men and women of the Newport News Police Department protect and serve our great City of Newport News, VA. We ask them to jump from call to call with a clear and level head - responding to high stress situations, be the calm in the storm, be stern but fair, perform lifesaving CPR on a child, stop the speeder and red light runners, and so much more. This job not only takes a toll on our Officers but also their families. That is why we are hosting a Thank you day - Family Fun Day - for NNPD and their families. This will be a day for fun, smiles, and laughter with their families and co-workers. A day to let their guard down and just be.
